How it works

 We have a wide variety of tools available for loan to our members. New Tools will be added during the year so please check back often.

Most tools will be loaned for 1 week at a time with a gold coin donation which will be used for maintaining the tools. Some items will be charged at a higher cost if required like the LPG Weed Dragon ($10) and the Trailer ($10) as this will help with the higher cost of maintaining these items.

Sponsors of the tool library that have donated tools are exempt from the gold coin donations.

We will also require a signed indemnity form for each person using this service as all tools are used at our own risk. Please ensure you use the appropriative saftey equipment like safety glasses, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Any questions, please ask as we have a lot of experience in our membership that can help with advice on tool selection, maintenance, and use.

Tools can be borrowed or returned when the Sustainable Macleod Community Garden is open or by special arrangement with one of the committee members at other times.
