Winning in-season recipe
To celebrate the launch of our new website, Facebook Page and Instagram account, we ran a virtual baking/cooking competition using in-season item, LIME.
Thanks for sharing your yummy recipes. Although we didn’t get to taste all the entries, we couldn’t resist the recipe for lime sorbet submitted by Paul Gale-Baker.

Creamy and tangy. Better than ice cream! By Paul Gale-Baker.
900g sour cream (full cream)
240g icing sugar
Juice of 3-4 limes
- Simply combine the sour cream, icing sugar and lime juice (check lime amount by tasting).
- Blend, freeze, serve. Delicious!
I’m going to make this on Saturday Paul – sounds delicious and I’ve still got limes left!
